A Playful Workshop - Contrast, Expression, and Freedom

  • Nockie's Palette 756 Lake Hayes-Arrow Junction Highway RD 1, Frankton, Queenstown Queenstown, Otago New Zealand (map)

Welcome to a playful workshop where contrast, expression, and freedom take centre stage. We'll start with something simple and familiar—a favourite object or a beloved cartoon character—using bold, confident shapes to build a strong focal point. Then, the real magic begins: the background becomes your playground. Layer by layer, you'll add colour, movement, and intuition, letting the unexpected guide your brush.

This session has no rules—only curiosity, colour, and fun. Let go of control, explore vibrant combinations, and enjoy every spontaneous mark. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, you're invited to play.

Open to all levels, this session is an invitation to explore the human face with freedom, celebrating expression over accuracy in a supportive, creative space.
